Life Stages
It's not your salary that makes you rich, it's your spending habits.
Combining your super
If you have changed jobs a number of times and haven't worried about your employer's super contributions, you may have hundreds or even thousands of dollars scattered around in various accounts.
It could be a good idea to roll all of your super savings into one fund. The fewer accounts you have, the smaller number of fees you pay, there's less paperwork and overall, less hassle.
Before Karen took time off to have children she worked in several part time jobs, with each employer contributing to different super funds. When Karen rejoined the workforce she decided to take the opportunity to compare her super funds. She chose the fund that was right for her and rolled all of her super into one account.
