Workplace seminars and advice
To keep you up to date on super and what's happening at Quadrant, we hold seminars from time to time, especially designed for employers. These informative sessions cover topics such as changes to super legislation, payroll issues, transition to retirement, insurance cover, tax incentives and salary sacrifice. It's also a great chance to meet some of Quadrant's friendly staff as well as others working in roles similar to yours.
Want us to tell you when we’re holding our next seminar? Give us your contact details and we’ll be in touch.
Advice for your employees
Unless you hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or are an authorised representative of an organisation which holds an AFSL, you can't recommend any financial products or give advice about any super funds. If you break the law, you could face hefty fines.
In your capacity as an employer, human resource manager, payroll officer or other position, work colleagues may look up to you for advice on a range of issues. Your best bet is to leave financial advice to the licensed experts and recommend they speak to a Quadrant financial planner.
It's best to refer your employee to a financial planner when they:
- need a fund comparison
- want advice on investments
- would like to know how much insurance cover they should have
- need a savings plan to ensure they have enough money for retirement (including salary sacrifice, co-contributions and personal contributions)
- are thinking about retirement and pension products
- are leaving employment due to total and permanent disablement or redundancy.
